"On behalf of IEEE Computer Society, I would like to thank you for your hard work and congratulate you on a very successful RE 2018!
It was a wonderful conference week. It was great seeing you all in your conference organization mode.
I was very impressed with the organization and technical quality of RE 2018.
I am delighted to see that you are trying a few new things with RE 2018.
I was also encouraged that many young people attended which is the sign of a healthy conference.
The venue, Banff Center and Banff National Park, are absolutely spectacular and I enjoyed it immensely.
Again, thank you very much for all the time and energy you put in to make RE 2018 such a great success."

About the Conference
RE'18 will offer an extensive program of interest to academia, government and industry. It will include several distinguished keynote speakers and three conference days full of papers, panels, posters and demos. A series of exciting tutorials to develop skills in and advance awareness of requirements engineering practices is of particular interest to industry. Two days of workshops as well as doctoral symposium offer forums for participants to present cutting-edge techniques and approaches in particular fields.
RE'18 follows the theme -
"Crossing Boundaries and Increasing Impact"
An INDUSTRY DAY is held during the conference week on Monday, August 20th, 2018. From a world-wide survey titled “Naming the Pain in Requirements Engineering” (Méndez, F. D., et al.: Naming the Pain in Requirements Engineering: Contemporary Problems, Causes, and Effects in Practice, Empirical Software Engineering (2017), DOI: 10.1007/s10664-016-9451-7) , the top industrial software requirements engineering problems were analyzed.
